DR. HORROR'S EROTIC HOUSE OF IDIOTS

A huge cast of cult film stars, including Debbie Rochon and horror host Zacherley, aka John Zacherle, star in this epic comedy/satire of the B-Movie industry co-written by Brinke Stevens. A retired TV horror host and an unemployed screenwriter pose as sex therapists at a vacationing doctor's retreat. When a trio of gullible patients show up, their therapies take the form of horror and sci-fi movies. The "erotic" in the title is part of the joke. If the film were rated, it would be PG-13, contains no nudity. Running time: 2 hours, 15 minutes. Both Debbie Rochon and Trent Haaga won "Best Comedy Actor" awards at MicroCinemaFest 2004, the film won the "Best Production Award" from the Pittsburgh Film Workers Association in 2005 and was voted 2005's "Indie Movie of the Year" by Monster News Online.
