Illustrator's Reference Manual Nudes (Illustrators Reference)

A companion volume to the "Illustrator's Figure Reference Manual", this book aims to provide a useful tool for the artist and illustrator. It contains more than 1000 photographs of male and female nudes in an extensive range of poses and positions. Grouped into standing, sitting annd reclining positions, the poses vary from glamorous pin-ups to classical stances, based on works of art. Live models are often unavailable or unaffordable. This is particularly true of nude models. Illustrators and artists must, therefore, look elsewhere for suitable reference. Unfortunately, most pictorial representations are very limited in pose, position and angle. Each pose is photographed from up to 24 different angles to give a full representation of the subject, and allowing figures to be accurately combined in groups.
